As a photographer, I am deeply interested in exploring themes related to consent and healthy relationships. My current project focuses on lifestyle bondage and BDSM, and how informed consent and the ability to say "no" differentiate it from unhealthy power dynamics of the past.

My images aim to capture the beauty and complexity of consensual power exchange dynamics, where all parties involved have the freedom to express their desires and boundaries. In this project, I seek to showcase the diversity and individuality of those who engage in these lifestyles, challenging stereotypes and promoting greater understanding of this community.

At the core of this project is the importance of consent. I aim to capture the ways in which BDSM participants actively negotiate their boundaries and desires, and how these negotiations are an ongoing and crucial aspect of healthy relationships. The ability to say "no" is not only accepted, but it is also encouraged and celebrated as an essential component of BDSM play.

Contrasting with unhealthy power dynamics of the past, where one partner held all the power, my project highlights the importance of mutual respect and communication in any healthy relationship. Both parties should have the ability to set boundaries and communicate their desires, and no one should ever feel pressured or coerced into doing something they are not comfortable with.

Through my photography, I hope to promote awareness and education about the importance of consent and healthy relationships. By showcasing the beauty and complexity of BDSM dynamics, I aim to challenge the myths and misunderstandings that exist around this community and promote greater understanding and acceptance of all consensual relationship dynamics.

Seeking individuals, couples, or small groups who embrace BDSM lifestyles and are open to participating in themed photoshoots, either in their own homes or within their preferred play spaces.

Looking for participants who are willing to share their personal perspectives on the importance of consent in their lives, with a particular emphasis on BDSM if they feel comfortable doing so. These written statements will be displayed alongside their corresponding photographs, adding depth and context to the visual narrative.

Additionally, actively seeking diverse and unique locations to stage the photoshoots. Suggestions for intriguing settings, including participants' own homes or dedicated play spaces, are greatly appreciated. The inclusion of familiar environments adds an authentic and intimate dimension to the project, further enhancing the visual storytelling and fostering a sense of personal connection.
